1994
Rick Williams opened for business doing contract CMM inspection serving the automotive industry.
1995
Expanded company to include a tool room to start building gages, fixtures, and dies.
1996
Steady growth, developed in-house engineering department to better serve our customers.
1997
Expanded operation adding 7,500 sq. ft. to current building due to business growth and demand.
1998
Steady growth approximately 20% a year.
1999
Started CNC machining department to do small production runs and to utilize in the build of gages and fixtures.
2000
Expanded operation to accommodate growth. Explored new markets and broader customer base beyond the mid west to include
the east and west coast. Expanded contract inspection area adding new equipment (CMM's) to better serve our customers and meet delivery
and quality requirements. Achieved ISO9001 Certification in record time due to hard work of employees.
2001
Developing new product lines for distribution in the U.S. gage industry. Focusing on more value added products and services for our customers.
Gage development and maintenance programs, up front involvement from prototype to product launches. Utilize automated gage lines for our
customers to reduce inspection time and scrap. Serving customers in the southern United States and Mexico in the automotive and appliance industries.
2002
A year of growth for our company adding valuable employees, diversifying operations, and adding new equipment and capabilities. Distribution of gage products in
conjunction with the design and manufacturing of custom gages and inspection systems enabled Quality Inspection & Gage, Inc. to be a full service company to our
customers while becoming a value added supplier. This year we completed our new addition to our facility to include sales offices, customer service,
GAGE CALIBRATION LAB, training room, and sales and distribution for the gage companies we represent. We also successfully setup
sub-distributor's for our custom gages and tooling in both North Carolina (serving SE United States) and Texas (serving SW United States and Mexico).
Organizational changes to the management structure of the company improved customer relationships, efficiency, and proved to be needed to stay competitive.
2003
This year has started off to a fast pace with the addition of many new customers and additional employees with the technical expertise to take us further.
Completed our ISO9001:2000 UPGRADE and also completed ISO/IEC 17025-1999 ACCREDITATION.
This year will be an exciting one for the employees and customers of Quality Inspection & Gage, Inc. as we expand our services
locally while also adding products and services that interest customers on a national level.
With the addition of an in-house Calibration Lab we are now one of a handful of gage companies that have all services under one roof.

2004
10th ANNIVERSARY!!!
Congratulations to all employees who have helped the company reach this milestone.
Another year of expansion of services to our customers.....This year was the largest increase in sales in a single year and set a company 10 year record for total sales.
Added equipment, services for our customers that include assigned project engineers customer specific.
NEW CNC Facility to support our growing gage business and to explore opportunities for production machining for the Automotive, Orthopedic, Appliance, and Agriculture Industries.

2005
On track for highest sales year in company history thanks to the loyalty and quality of existing customers and addition of new customers who are expanding and require companies like ours to assist in their growth. CNC department up and running at full capacity with the addition of more SURFCAM seats and FADAL machining centers we are providing gage products and services that make us very competitive both in the midwest and nationally as being a full service company.
2006
Expanding building to consolidate the Sales, Engineering, and Office staff. Expanding Contract CMM INSPECTION services to be full service and possible addition of CMM's and Programmer's in 2007.
Expanding gage services to existing customer's GAGE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE Program for periodic review of repairs and adjustments on-site at customer's plant.
